 RUNNING INTO SUN
All light
Yellow, orange, pink, white
Trembling sundown comes
'Fore night
To take away all woe and worry
Running into the sun
Floating into the sun
Flying into the sun
In slow motion
In a hurry
Where warm envelopes me
Flesh leaves there is no grieve
To be had
Just glad
Then glad again
Throughout all time
It's simple whim
To let the sun
Annihilate you
A way to love
The hate that hates you
As spirit can't be touched
And barely heard
Until somewhere in time
You find a poet's word
That's running into sun right now
In this dark night up late to bow
Down to the quiet of the dark
Where there is no sun to park
It's heat upon your cold brows
There is no need for
When's, Buts, If's and How's
Where Why doesn't have to be explained
There is no shame
Zero pain
Only spirit
If you'll be quiet
You could hear it
Turn the communications off and try
To see your mind
Your third eye
That sees only sun
Pure white light
Since it's cold and skies are black
I'm running into sun tonight.
