Chewy Center

If I was a candy bar, what would I be?

Covered with nuts, that is easy to see.

Creamy caramel nugget rich with flavor;

It is my soft chewy center that I savor.

One of the village idiots, totally nuts;

But I will never get stuck in life’s ruts.

Weird; boy, I’ll say, but it doesn’t matter;

My soft chewy center, a true mad hatter.

Come with me and fly into the full moon;

Freedom of expression, a purple balloon.

Crazy like a fox, I love every rich breath;

My soft chewy center, my eternal depth.
