just thoughts

Red Thread
 

There is running through my life a red thread;

Coloring me with passion, creativity, hunger.

Woven into the tapestry that is my being;

Differing in textures on each given day.

Waking up some days within a lusty fog;

Where at other times; subdued, controlled.

 

I am learning about the life of the red thread;

As indeed it does have the seed of life within.

Becoming fully aware of it’s powers, it’s force;

Yet appreciating the vibrancy it gives to me.

Passion thoughts cycle throughout my circuitry;

Rewiring me into a unique being, walking upright.



I feel that fire within; it is a red thread day;

A day dominated by my desires, my dreams.

Giving it a long leash, allowing it to run and play;

Yet tethered to protect all the innocent ones.

Feeling the passion, I know that I am alive;

Walking in synchronicity allows me to love.
