Terry S., Is a Survivor of a War People Deny

Terry S. is  a survivor of a war that  people deny or would like to deny that it ever happened.
Some say it is  a conflict and not a war for the whole world wasn't involved.
But the truth of the matter is it took many lives of men and women.
The pain is excruciatingly awful to say the least.
Memories  haunt the minds and hearts of the service personnel.
Terry has disclosed more than once the nightmares he is has gone through.
Recalling the incidents as they happened many  years ago.
In a word,  Terry survives the war   even now within his heart and mind.
Happiness is he is able to get home and be part of the world as others are.
Unscaved from the mortar fire he is able to be at home and wake with the new dawn.
Peace no matter how temporal it may be is his lot today.
I wish to honor Terry and his comrades who survived the war and say welcome home.
He is a most genuine man who has been through so much.
The Lord has allowed people like me to get to know him and be proud.
