Deep in the dark woods
a hidden tower hides there,
no children stop by to visit
the inside stays cold and bare.
There once was a Princess
who used to call it her home,
now, the windows are boarded up
'twas once she had roamed.
She used to toil in the dirt
where her roses had once grown,
her parents were so proud
the garden surrounded by beach stone.
That's all grown over now
her parents had passed away,
she holds sadness in her heart
she tries to keep her tears at bay.
No children stop by to visit
the inside stays cold and bare,
deep in the dark woods
a hidden tower hides there.
