The Crux of the Cross
Trembling he said:
"I know that Jesus Christ
died for the sins of the world."
Yes Mr. Wesley, but do you know
that Christ died for you?
Salvation's Grace,
unmerited blessing,
Spirit empowered,
received by meek, humble souls,
not meek before arrogant evil,
nor humble before ignorant pride,
but trembling at God's Word,
receiving Him, the fountain of life,
and Grace upon Grace,
blessing upon blessing,
now and forever!
