On Saturday March 22, 2014
There was a mudslide
Mud falling and taking out
The tiny town of Oso, Washington
43 citizen in this small town
Were buried and gave their lives
Not much afterwards a school shooting
Four students of Marysville-Pilchuck,
were killed in a area already suffering
Brave people not a pun near Tulalup Indian Casino
The city is in an Indian reservation
have continued active in sports
Last year both our team and theirs
Student body and player wore Military gear
In support of out Military veterans
Woodinville wore one time uniforms
Matching our military colors
I remember the pride of being handed an armband
Kids from both schools stopping me and
Thanking me personally for my service
Two minutes of silence for veterans and their loss
Next week is a different game--baseball
Marysvile-Pilchuck of all schools our Sister school
