Get rid of lies and speak the truth,
Be no longer acting uncouth;
Because you are kinfolk of God,
To whom that we honor and laud.
Be angry yet without sinning,
For no doubt you will be winning;
Anger not when going to bed,
For you will be restless instead.
Never give the devil a chance,
Opportunities to advance;
For when you are in the right mood,
He will be waiting to intrude.
So I have to be appealing,
To all thieves to stop stealing;
Rather work hard doing good deeds,
Helping the people having needs.
Go make your neighbor as your friend,
Saying nothing that would offend;
So speak only of what you should,
That would be both righteous and good.
What you say will be helping those,
Who are filled with toils and woes;
Let them hear what God desires,
And by what His Word requires.
Do not let the Holy Spirit,
Become upset from your merit;
In whom you were sealed for the day,
Of redemption is coming your way.
It may give grace to them that hear,
No more having to dry a tear;
The world of sin being set free,
Giving the insight as to see.
Get rid of any bitterness,
And be replaced with blessedness;
Be kind and also forgiving,
For damage control with living.
