If the Lord Should ComeIf the Lord should come today What would His verdict be If He should come this hour Would He be proud of me? Would He find me sleeping And caring not at all Would I hear His voice If my name He would call? Would I reconize His face If He stood before me Would I think I was dreaming Or know it's reality? Would there be too much worldliness Blinding my sight What would I do If He came tonight? Would I be sorry He interruped my plans Or would I celebrate And call in all the bands? Would I tell my friends He's the one worth waiting for And show others that He's the one I love and adore? I wonder just what I would do If the Lord should come Would I go to paradise And a crown of life have won" I want to do all He wants me to do each day "Come inherit my Kingdom" I want to hear him say.
