I will give thanks unto You,
For I am awesomely made;
And will always remain true,
Knowing You will render aid.
Your works are miraculous,
My soul is fully aware;
Knowing You are fabulous,
With being so just and fair.
My bones have not been hidden,
Since I was made in secret;
Showing what is forbidden,
So I will never regret.
Your eyes saw me in the womb,
Before You let me come out;
Also foresees where my tomb,
As I lay to rest about.
Every day of my life,
Is recorded in Your book;
Showing reason for my strife,
Every cranny and nook.
How precious every thought,
How vast in number they are;
All the pleas that I have sought,
For healing every scar.
More than all the grains of sand,
But knowing that You do care;
For I know You understand,
Because You are always there.
I wish that you would just kill,
The evil that surrounds this place;
Since the wickedness they instill,
That I am having to face.
Please examine me O Lord,
Know what is within my mind;
And keep me in one accord,
Through tranquility I find.
