Give thanks to the Lord,
Because He is good;
Be in one accord,
As you know you should.
His love won't sever,
For mercy and grace;
Endures forever,
That He will embrace.
Who can speak about,
All the mighty things;
And would ever doubt,
The goodness it brings.
Who could even think,
Renouncing the acts;
As a mere hoodwink,
When you know the facts.
Bless those who defend,
And have put their trust;
On whom you depend,
To be fair and just.
So do what is right,
Through all of the times;
To stay in the light,
Away from the crimes.
Remember the Lord,
For He shows favor;
Your pleas not ignored,
Being your Savior.
He gives salvation,
For those He chose;
His reputation,
Purify who owes.
For we have done wrong,
And have been guilty;
But sin won't prolong,
Through His purity.
