Spinning Around the Dance Floor

~ Spinning Around the Dance Floor ~
Spinning around the dance floor
Dancing to songs here and there
On Valentine's Day to a friend of mine
After one of the songs had ended
I realized that He and I kept dancing
To the beat of our own hearts
All the while dancing in His arms, I hear her say
“They don't even need music to dance, how sweet”
Just then I glance over her way
As she begins to say the news of us
Being married in 6 months
She even had the date right! ; )
As she starts the next song
And my prince and I are dancing the night away
My Prince Charming's Eyes light up with stars
So, I say to him you know you have stars in your eyes
And the next words he says just melts my heart away
My Prince Charming says
It's Because Your My Angel!
If I couldn't stop smiling before
That made it so I couldn't stop smiling!
Spinning on the dance floor in my high heeled boots
I realized even with my high heels for my wedding dress
I will still be about the same height I am now
Spinning around the dance floor
I lose track of time as the clock spins round
While dancing the night away!
