Images dangling in the cobwebs of winds of time 4/22/15

For so long I have been gone with the wind.
Floating through the plantation
like spirits of so many slain slaves
salivating for justice in a nation built with our blood,
sweat,
tears
and pain;
Never even slightly compensated,
never even an apology
only agony
and generations of misery;
For so long I have been floating through the breeze
like a loose leaf dangling from it's branch,
focusing on the memories of my past
to learn what not to do
and to do what I was bread to.
Viewing 2015 scenes,
videos in surround sound
of unarmed victims shot down
in cold blood,
reminding me of all the past atrocities
handed to many generations of family.
But that was the past,
Now it is 2015
and the theme
Is the same old scene
And I thought the good Doctor Martin Luther King had a DREAM…
