 JANET'S PLANET

Gift Of Spring

I saw a speck of green
Green rising and peeping up from the ground
I immediately thought of you
You would want to plant
Seasons come and go
Changes of the seasons
New birth, growth
To dig deep into the earth
Turning the soil
To fertilize, nourish
Provide, care for-
To lift up, bring forth-
A new beginning
To cause to flourish
To cultivate
To spread beauty and peace
A beautiful and bountiful gift of spring.

İMay 1, 2015 Janet Griffin

The soil is the great connector of our lives, the source and destination of all.

- Wendell Berry -

In dedication to my dear loving husband. My friend and soul mate. I will always cherish
wonderful memories of you. Our music will never die.

I choose joy over despair. Not because I have my head in the sand, but because joy is what the earth gives me daily and I must return the gift

- Robin Wall Kimmerer -
