I too dreamed a dream I went To Heaven said I
when dreams were nigh and Hope was giving,
I dreamed happiness would never say goodbye
I never thought I'd give up living!

Then the world was good and kind
and I had a song to sing,
I had My Love by my side to find
and in my hands was Everything!

But the coldest wind blew that day
and with it took My Will
to go on it went away
now I'm left with just a chill!

Yet still I dream again there'll be
that music in the hereafter,
for here that part of me
is just a memory with the laughter!

I had a dream a different path
My Dream Come True would always catch me when I fell,
but I met the reaper's wrath
and it killed me with my dream I dreamed....
