As people who know,
What it means to fear;
Those we try to show,
That the Lord is near.
God already knows,
What and who we are;
And where each one goes,
For a sinful scar.
We are not again,
Trying to commend;
What you have been,
A brother and friend.
But speak as giving,
The Lord to be proud;
How we are living,
So praise Him out loud.
If we were crazy,
It was for the Lord;
At least not lazy,
Cannot be ignored.
For the love of Christ,
Is guiding us through;
Not to be enticed,
In what we construe.
So we are certain,
That one man has died;
God tore the curtain,
When He wept and cried.
So do not think of,
From the point of view;
As human thereof,
But through Christ construe.
As a believer,
Be a new creature;
So the deceiver,
Is not your teacher.
