Under the Starlight Sky

I picture a campfire and cowboys are around it.
They journey has been long and rough.
They near their drop off point with the cattle they have brought.
Collectively this group of men was a group of Christians.
They went to bed every night with a hymn on their lips and a prayer every morning when they arose.
It was a special time for them and one that wouldn't happen with the same men again.
God was the Leader of this group for they depended upon Him to carry them through and He did.
Rains poured but didn't dampen the spirits of these cowboys.
Jesus was honored every day and at every meal they had.
Certain times they had a time for prayer to get the cattle through.
Love emanated from each of them toward the other.
What a wonderful experience and one that could be so true.
