Everyone must live in peace,
As well as be sympathetic;
That your hostilities cease,
Never to be apathetic.
Rather display your compassion,
While being humble and kind;
Some may feel that is old fashion,
For having such a loving mind.
Do not pay other people back,
Avenging by doing evil;
It shows godliness that you lack,
That follows ways of the devil.
Do not attempt to ridicule,
The ones that would ridicule you;
You will be the one as the fool,
Saying something that is not true.
Rather be certain to bless them,
For you inherit a blessing;
And never attempt to condemn,
Remember God when expressing.
Those who want to live a full life,
And enjoy such wonderful days;
Must remember to cope with strife,
And not think of the evil ways.
You have to always keep your tongue,
And your lips from speaking deceit;
Do not allow it to be flung,
That would be causing you defeat.
You must turn away from evil,
By doing good as you pursue;
No longer ways of the devil,
No more wicked ways to construe.
For the eyes of the Lord can see,
And His ears are able to hear;
The prayers of concern to be,
Within the mind that turn to fear.
Dedicate your life to the Lord,
Always be prepared to defend;
Let not confidence be ignored,
Showing that on Christ you depend.
