The Wall
The Wall June 17, 2015
Divide the children, divide them all
Take down the hateful wall
Irish children growing free
Loving you and me
Bricks and mortar
Separate them all
Ignore the children's call
Do I have a friend on the other side?
Big people talk, I guess that's that
I still want to meet my friend
My friend that I don't know
We can meet again in Ireland
Can we meet again as one
Can we be children of Ireland?
Our country has been divided
Just like the wall of hate
Can I meet a friend like me
Make the people free
Divide the children,
Divide them all
Respect the children's call
Take down the hateful wall
