Do not forget what you were taught,
Keeping the commandments in mind;
Careful about what you have sought,
That will make problems you may find.
My teachings will bring you long life,
With plenty of good years and peace;
As they will help to cope with strife,
And to make hostilities cease.
Let not mercy and truth leave you,
Firmly mount them into your heart;
They will help in seeing you through,
If you continue to impart.
Then you will find so much success,
In the sight of God and mankind;
Surely the Lord will also bless,
As you and the Father align.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
Rely not on your perception;
Let not His commandments depart,
Or Satan would cause deception.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your path real smooth;
No longer are you to feel grim,
The rough areas He will soothe.
Consider yourself as not wise,
Fear the Lord and avoid evil;
Jealousy will make you despise,
And in the world of the devil.
Good health for body to heal,
While your bones start to nourish;
To experience a new zeal,
Wisdom in your brain will flourish.
So honor the Lord with your wealth,
Giving unto Him the first-fruits;
You will remain within good health,
With firmly implanted deep roots.
