Welcome to My Poetry Site

I sit atop the storm wall,
Facing out to sea,
The jetty is before me,
holding back the shifting sands,
the waves form in the distance,
slowly growing larger,
as they do aprouch,
collapsing on the shore.

A rush of foam,
pushed up the beach,
close by where I sit,
and then pulled back out to sea.

The deafening roar of fury,
the sea air filled with sand and salt,
to feel the sting and burn,
sprayed upon my face.

I sit atop the storm wall,
facing out to sea.
