Political Correctness

Political correctness is a cancer
That's grown out of control
Which prompts a thinking man to ask
Has America lost her soul?

For villains are now heroes
While the good are demonized
And things once held as sacrosanct
Are mocked and criticized.

Politicians pass new laws they know
Most people do not want
Then have the nerve to say to them
It's too bad if you don't!

They ignore our Constitution
And encourage needless strife
While decreeing marriage so much more
Than simply man and wife.

They love to stir class hatred
And blame things on the rich
Who, by the way, gave me a job
When I didn't own a stitch.

Yes, America is in big trouble
This land of liberty
Which prompts a thinking man to ask
How long will we be free?
