Half awake and half asleep,
but with a mind clear as ever.
We journey through the clouds
of a new day coming.
Rolling pins and saucepans
clatter each time they fall
awaking us from wonderful dreams
that occasionally come to call.
We are but a speck in the universe
looking out for brand new worlds
we can visit in our dreams
when we drift off to new lands.
With our head in the clouds
we can conquer all the pitfalls
that want to sour our lives
from morning to dusk.
