MRS HIRST IS LEAVING

What are the children to do
Without you to lead the way?
You are their stability
You always brighten their day.

You`re what a true `Head` should be
Someone to be looked up to,
Who is always firm but fair
Patient, honest and true.

The children feel your presence
And feel happy and secure,
You bring a smile to their faces
They love you that`s for sure.

You treat them with such kindness
And listen to their every word,
For they have an opinion
And you make sure they are heard.

You`re their Head Teacher firstly
Moreover you are their friend,
You are there when they are sickly
And their cut knee you will mend.

You are their safety net
To catch them when they fall,
And you`re their comforter
To wipe their tears when they bawl.

You will be greatly missed
No doubt this you will perceive,
It will be a sad event
On the day that you leave.

You are so many things
But all rolled up into one,
You are irreplaceable
You are second to none.

Cobbs Brow is par excellence
The school is what you`ve made it,
No other could have done this
You never gave in or quit.
