O Lord God of Heaven,
Great awe-inspiring;
Your promise has given,
Faith in acquiring.
Show mercy on all those,
Who love you and obey;
As any blessing flows,
That they follow your way.
Please open up Your eyes,
And listen with Your ear;
I know that You are wise,
Everything sincere.
Your servant is praying,
Praying by day and night;
So I do not go straying,
Temptations that I fight.
For I know I am weak,
So I confess my sin;
And I come as I seek,
Your compassion within.
I know I committed,
Malcontent against You;
Many times omitted,
In saying what is true.
I have done such great wrongs,
And I do not deserve;
As agony prolongs,
I am losing my nerve.
Remember what You said,
If I remain faithful;
To raise me from the dead,
In which I am grateful.
Saved by Your great power,
And guided by Your hand;
Frail like a flower,
You make my lame legs stand.
Please give me the success,
And listen to my prayer;
Your purpose I will bless,
For I sincerely care.
