As I sit here and daydream,
Of a place so far away.
While I think of this peace within,
It leads my soul astray.

I'm feeling the warm winds blow,
Caring me high and free.
This oasis that I'm dreaming of,
Is more than I can perceive.

With shadows dancing slowly,
Under a deep blue sky.
Burnished clouds hang overhead,
Calmly moving by.

I'm so readily consumed,
of this peace that has no end.
And every breath I take,
I scarce can take it in.

When I need a break from reality,
I hope to come back to this dream,
For I'll remember it always,
So peaceful and serene.
