I Once Was Blind But Now I See
The Melodic Birds Have Gone Away From Me
When the melodic birds were close to me I didn't take it for granted.
I was one to praise and honor the Lord as I should have.
It is now come down to this time when the birds have all left.
They have left me alone with my memories and thoughts.
They had brought many days of wonder to my life.
Joy was the order of the day for me to hear them as they sang.
It was a time of reverence and honoring Christ Jesus for having them.
Jesus knows what He is doing and never makes a mistake.
Unlike we humans who make mistakes all the time, Jesus never will.
He allowed me the privilege of hearing His creation for a time.
But as everything that we have; in this world, it is ephemeral.
So, be mindful to praise the Lord for all you have and never tire of giving Him thanks for these things which are yours to share.
