You Passed the Loving Test
Two years ago the key of the door
You don`t need it anymore
Still so pretty bright and true
Nannie loves the light of you
You bring sunshine, never rain
No matter if you are in pain
You show your love with all your heart
My brave lassie from the start
You are calm and carry on
Even when you are alone
Love your babies oh so much
Teaching them to sing and such
You are such a great Mama my dear
And I wish that you were living near
So I could hug you nice and tight
And tuck you in your bed at night
But my lass you are a lady
Mummy to two such lovely babies
Instead you tuck them in their beds
As they lay down their sleepy heads
Proud of everything you are
My bright and shining little star
May today bring only laughter
And a happy ever after
Happy birthday dreams come true
Nannie sends her love to you
Kiss the babies, from my heart
No matter what, we`ll never part
As time goes on and years go by
Be happy darling, never cry
You deserve the very best
`Cause you passed the loving test.
