There's no angels left on Dominion Road.
You really might as well
go home.
Don't linger on these paths
no more;
Forget the shrine, once old bookstore.
The ones we loved have been and gone;
Just street lights,
where before they shon.
There's no need
for you to dawdle
long.
They left here luminous,
young,
three-strong.
One dark,
One blonde,
One very tall.
Next to their halos,
I felt small.
Wandering here,
it won'trestore.
The angels just went out the door.
