I look out the window,
and I see the sun shining,
still there in the same place it always is,
a constant we can't live without.
I look out the window,
and I see the trees swaying in the wind,
giving off oxygen so we can live,
and yet, we chop them down.
I look out the window,
and I see grass growing,
making the ground seem softer,
seeming more welcoming
than the hardness of concrete.
I look out the window,
and I see birds flying,
and I hear them singing,
calling to each other,
and yet, we kill some of them
until they are extinct.
I look out the window,
and I see other people,
walking and breathing,
all of them have a family,
a life,
and yet we kill each them,
our own species.
We take for granted
all the wonderful things of the world,
and we threaten each other
and we kill each other.
Look at what this world's become!
A place full of spoiled brats,
who throw away perfectly good food,
when others are starving all around them.
A place where people kill people,
where they think it's ok.
A place that's full of people,
who are turning from God
and destroying his beautiful creation.
This world has become tainted,
full of sin and darkness,
of immorality and death and wickedness.
And I can see all of this,
just looking out my window.
