OL' Fashion Soul Food 8/18/15It's funny how life changes, It's funny to view growth From an unborn child To a full grown adult; Laugh youngster laugh, Play those games but Continue to learn life lessons Through experience and witnessing; It's funny the way most people refuse to work on their issues, Figuring all they need is tissue For all those false tears, Sobs without waterworks, Assuming the emotional distraction would cause a forgetful reaction, But the truth is it only causes hysterical laughter; And through it all-Thanks is given for all the nourishment of my spirit because laughter is food for the soul; Ain't nothing like that good Ol' Fashion Soul Food Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
