Those of you, who are believers,
Are no longer being disgraced;
Rather you will be receivers,
For as a new creature embraced.
So the standards of the Spirit,
Who does give life through Jesus Christ;
Will ensure that you inherit,
For the ones that had sacrificed.
He sets standards of sin and death,
Since we are weak within nature,
To determine fate past the last breath,
In becoming a new creature.
It is impossible for us to do,
What the standards of God demands;
For remaining faithful and true,
Abiding in all the commands.
For we live in a world of sin,
Temptations capture desires;
Having a lack of discipline,
Unable to put out fires.
But God had sent His only Son,
To experience human nature;
Ensuring that payment was done,
Offering us a new feature.
Then God was able to condemn,
The crud of the corrupt nature;
Getting rid of it like phlegm
As to become a new creature.
Then rid of the old attitude,
That was blocking you from the Lord;
And be in a spiritual mood,
So He is no longer ignored.
For the mind of the flesh is death,
But a spiritual mind is life;
That will live beyond the last breath,
And being at peace free from strife.
