Love is a crutch, on to which
Our hands clutch. With a certain hysteria,
Violently emotions and thoughts pour out.
Ephemeral feelings promised to last for life.
In this lonely land of I
Strangers become alibis.
Into seclusion our hearts return, I
Never wanted to leave the illusion of this realm.
For a moment it felt real, I took a hold of the helm
I guided us through hell stained by hate's graffiti.
Never wanting to leave the realm of love's illusion,
It felt real... and lasting- so infinite,
Time slowly withered us down.
Eventually we realized, it was imminent.
