Bad day By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
The morning coffee enters my blood
Queuing a button to the butterflies in my stomach.
Jitters come along with the anxiety
consuming the mind.
A string of w o r d s
Ditches a heavy rock into the empty pits of my stomach.
Half a day spent worrying
Realising the clocks are ticking.
Yet another crushes the hopes of a better day,
As the heart fills with annoyance.
It blinded my eyes,
As I search for something to smile for.
Walking home alone
Brought tears to the brim.
Shut the door,
Turn the lights off.
