Dad Was a Man Who Served   God Well

Thinking of my dad and his time of leaving this earth of ten years and eight months brings to mind this note about Dad.
He worked hard no matter where he was.
Either at the plant where he was a machine tender or a carpenter at a house that was being built.
Dad had some broken ribs from a fall one time and found  himself at work laboring as usual.
Dad was never a whiner or tried to fool anyone of what he was doing.
He didn't have to be told anything about his position but did it well.
I am here to praise God first for having a dad given to me as He gave.
I am here to honor Dad for all he did to keep us together.
Upon Dad's conversion he gave of his talents to the Lord to take care of the church.
Soon Mom was there helping him and then myself.
It was a most special time for us to be together and doing what we cared to do.
Dad gave of himself to the Lord and served Him well.
I do believe Dad has earned rewards up in Heaven to give to Jesus .
Bless God for having Dad as my dad and friend.
