Dust in daylight By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
In the night out in the ocean,
Where the sea meets the stars,
And the wind carried the fragrance of that which is lost..
Only the ceaseless waves that called
Lamenting in the silence
How many days in a million years
Has this feeling been familiar?
A new moon today rises
To conceal the absence of dusk
Leaves will fall from nothingness above the ocean,
And vanish.
No sound of that which screamed,
Just some dust in daylight.
