You, with your heart ofgold,
Never let them make it cold.
Never let them take it from you,
Never be robbed of yourself, so bold.
It was all I begged until it is just that they made you eschew,
Today I mourn a person lost, forever obsessed now withprofit and revenue.
Your heart used to be so trusting, so pure,
but when they caught you, it was too late to be released from their lure.
They've robbed you, taken the beauty you once had,
A drastic turning point, no more hopes or dreams, it's ever so sad.
There's nothing left but a portrait, ghostly and faded,
You used to be full of joy, now you live a life of hatred.
Your happiness, joy, wonderful heart, weakened,
And now you lay defeated.
Your life turned a torn, burned tapestry,
As you sit in an eternal apathy.
You, with your heart turned blank,
So far into the murky depths you must have sank.
For now you sit, never leaving your spot nor your contemplation,
Ever waiting for your eternal damnation.
