far to the west, thunder,
aware, the approach of storm keeps
us underroof as children,
while watching
contadorwins his races
one foot circling the other,
and nails rained on
the roofs of aleppo,
and the whole world
watched the fall
now i
take the time to plan
cheap words into pricey sentences
pricier verse.
and watch them
crawl across the snow white screen
