end of the road By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Just another night,
Ripped pictures, from reckless fights,
Can't hold anymore,
Yet I still love with all my might,
I knew the time would present,
This unfortunate piece of content,
With a straight road ahead,
Even though we wish to bend,
Our crossroads of life,
Have come to an end,
Even though you'll still hold,
This deep place in my heart,
We were like fire and water,
Our mix was bad from the start,
Our love was inexplicable,
And unknown to all others,
Our relationship was too much,
We should've played sister and brother,
This road we have taken,
Is all but unclear,
The end of our relationship was soon to come near,
I can't move on,
But I couldn't bare to tell,
Because being with me,
Your life would go turn to hell,
Yes, I'd be happy,
But that was never what mattered,
Even if my heart,
Ends up being battered,
You took in my soul,
Made me see the true me,
I'm a monster, and a beast,
Something I'd never want to be,
Just know no matter what day,
Or how long it takes for you to call,
All always be here,
In the end of it all,
I'll always mean it when I say this,
And anyone would know who,
Because when it came to love,
I'd always love you.
