autumn echoes By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
A little girl of four, barefeet
is playing on a green hill
she's rolling down
then she's running back
on top to roll again.
A woman of four-ty
walking around
with her friends
could no more take it
so she pleaded:
"-Wait for me! "
Making use of hands
as well as feet
she climbed uphill
and to the amazement
of her worried friends
starts rolling downhill
Once. Twice.
Third time
one of her friend joined
Two unknown women
and an unknown child
from the top of a hill
are rolling down.
And the fall echoed
with those laughs of friends
wearing the heart of a child.
You need to be happy too?
Bring back that heart.
