The View from the edge of the world

The view from the edge of the world
Is not breathtaking
No glorious horizons
No milky way,
No picture postcard
No falling cliffs
No abyss no stars
No space,
no barren landscapes
No rainbows, no pot of Gold,
No strange creatures‘,
No GOD or Gods
No souvenir stalls,
no car park facilitates.
No burger vans
No answers to life,
no turning back,
no paths or roads
No towns no cities
No houses
No cars no trains or buses
Just a point a view
