So often I have thought of you
Wondering through the years,
Just what I should have done,
Oh, but I was young and fancyfree
Your sad face and feelings had little meaning to me.
Yet I wish today to apologise,
Wishing I could look you in your eyes.
It happened so long ago
But I want you to finally know...
When You asked me if I like it
And I said so passionately , "No!"...
I thought you meant the music!
Alas! My Plea!
Forgive me!
Ah! It's a fine kind of freedom,
Now that I have confessed!
