Pass the Legacy On
Poem 771 – Pass the Legacy On - Written on 10-26-2015
Pass the legacy on, we need to continue to pass down from generation to generation
Not only sentimental values rather its furniture, cars, or whatever it may be
When we pass things down from generation to generation we need to pass the legacy on
Just a small piece of our own characteristics that we want to have
Our generations to have within themselves.
The legacy that I will pass on, My Nana, my grandmother passed down to me
Through everything she has physically done and even said,
Her love and her compassion will I pass as part of my legacy that
I leave for my kids, my grandkids, and my great grandkids.
I will pass the legacy on from one generation to the next,
In hoping that the generations after me will continue to pass on the legacy of love.
As well as to pick something about themselves rather it's the love they have or
Whatever it may be to pass down as a legacy from generation to generation.
