A vox vocus pro universitas liberi( A voice for the world's children ) The global village of children need to unite, and be as one, With no nationalism or prejudice and no need for the gun, May borders be left wide open, many cultures to be shared, Our children need a universal voice that needs to be heard, What are we teaching them, to make war is the only solution, What are we leaving them, arms, nuclear waste and pollution, We inherited a very sick world from our previous generation, But we have only made things worse, at peril is every nation, We know that peace is a panacea and many say “Just a dream”, We must begin to start somewhere, a trickle can become a stream, Let's teach the children our vision, it's not too late to stop the rot, Take good care of this precious planet, in essence it's all we've got, Reach out for the hand of your neighbour, be he black or white, Reach out and grab equality, and truly believe in what is right, Be there no need for politics, be there no need for greed or strife, But be there a need for tolerance and be a need for quality of life.
