Here`s a tale of a girl who is never heard
He hardly listens to a single word,
You may find this hard to believe I know
And the situation fills her with such sorrow.
He does not hear her it appears
Her words seem to fall on deaf ears,
Maybe selective hearing is to blame
Only half listening is a mugs game.
She gets a `grunt` here and an `aha` there
And this is more than she can hardly bear,
Her golden words seem to die in the air
A one sided conversation is just not fair.
A situation like this is quite absurd
It`s not nice knowing you`re not heard,
He hears but doesn`t listen it would seem
Talking to herself makes her want to scream.
Concentrate on what she has to say
Hear what her words have to convey,
Afford her the privilege of being heard
Take the time to listen to every word.
So do listen to what she has to say
Or perhaps this could be to your dismay,
Don`t let her words get lost in space
For she would be very hard to replace.
