When I write on paper napkins
I think of how we used to be
Ever thinking about wonders
And exploring certainties
Fragrances that showed the doorway
To the love that we now share
And I hope to some day see you
With a band of gold I swear

Standing there and seeing your Dishwater hair
Hazel eyes that make the stars dim glare
