That sure feels good
When I'm writin' about love, I feel especially
Good, it's somethin' I have in my blood,
I've heard people say, I've an intimate way,
Time and practice is all that it took.
I work hard on my craft, and I test all the
Facts, I've a diary of matters complex,
A note here and there, on her lips, eyes,
And hair, and two thousand words on her
Legs.
When I'm writin' about love, I've a feather-light
Touch, a caress to excite where it should,
Why only last night, a lady went wild, an' said,
'My God Joe,' 'but that sure feels good.'
