lost and then found

The Lingering Pain

I must set upon the hilltop and watch the sunsets glare
My heart is filled with happy thought transgression falls from there
I wonder if your crying My heart broke from defying
The wonder of your voice It made a hard Knock life its showing
Believe me you have no heart to take away
There only silence here as I see the sunset fade
my dreams were taken and if not mistaken
The misdirection could take the brain and soul
I wouldn't let you past my guard if I had I lose my life
I ask for your refrain For no one here can blame
the cast that writes the script of or love
I may never concede for my words you can read
Its the ending the beginning no not the very end
Cast from our psst discretion fought to the bitter sin
Please don't see me in this light
And we must go I say goodnight
And wake up in the morning air
But the pain has lingered there
