You know what I had taught,
About my way of life;
My purpose how I fought,
The turmoil and strife.
My faith, patience and love,
Enduring endeavor;
While strength from above,
His will cannot sever.
You also know about,
All the persecutions;
Suffering causing doubt,
Through my absolutions.
But I always endured,
For not getting me down;
And rescued by the Lord,
Never wearing a frown.
So those who try to live,
Having a godly life;
With all that Christ will give,
Helps me endure the strife.
But the evil people,
And phony preachers;
Falsify the Gospel,
Misleading as teachers.
Continue in what you,
Having learned and have found;
As being tried and true,
With proving to be sound.
You know of your teachers,
Since your birth you have known;
For they were beseechers,
Of what God will condone.
You know the Word since birth,
The power of wisdom;
Knowing of its true worth,
Prepared for His Kingdom.
