Mom's Washday Was Enjoyable to Her

When Mom was alive there was nothing like having clean clothes to wear.
Mom would wash every Monday for the family.
It was a time when Mom would get me to do some of the drying for her.
It was a pleasant day for us with the sun shining and the cool breeze blowing.
The thing I enjoyed so much was to see Mom's face as she would get each item done and for her to be able to feel she had contributed to the family.
Mom always contributed to the family and was the continuity we all needed.
I miss Mom today for she is with Jesus now; in Heaven.
There is a joy that I will be able to see her again someday.
Bless you, Mom, for all you did to make our house a home.
